Travel Temperature Policy

At East Central Chiropractic & Rehab, the safety of our practitioners and staff is our top priority. Due to extreme weather conditions, we have implemented a Travel Temperature Policy to ensure safe travel to our satellite clinic locations.

Policy Statement:
If the outside temperature, including wind chill, reaches -35°C or lower, our practitioners will not travel to satellite clinic locations. This policy is in place to prevent travel-related hazards, such as poor road conditions, vehicle malfunctions due to extreme cold, and safety risks for both our team and patients.

How This Affects Your Appointment:

If travel is canceled due to extreme cold, affected patients will be contacted as soon as possible.

Appointments will be rebooked for the next available date at the same satellite clinic or at our main location if preferred.

We encourage patients to plan ahead and check for weather updates, especially during winter months.

How We Determine Cancellations:

We use reliable weather sources (e.g., Environment Canada) to monitor temperature and wind chill.

Decisions are made the evening before and confirmed the morning of travel.

If cancellation is necessary, notifications will be made via phone call. If the call is not answered, a voicemail will be left, and patients may also receive an email notification.

Main Clinic Appointments: This policy applies only to satellite clinic travel. Appointments at our main location will proceed as scheduled unless otherwise notified.
